No I’m sorry but the truth of the matter is the

Internet is the same as any other business the only

way to get to the top is a slow process with lots of

hard work but the rewards can be endless, so what do

you need to get real traffic to your website.

Content: Good content if you are selling the best

product in the world tell us about it and if it’s not

the best product in the world tell us it’s good

points, tell us how it works, what it can do , what

colours it comes in etc etc , not just a picture and

the price, content , content and don’t forget content,

no really you will never have enough good content.

SEO: Search Engine Optimisation, you can do this

yourself it’s not hard (YOU CAN DO IT) I could go on

for days about this subject but all you need to know

is what the search engines like and therefore will get

you a good page ranking.

Keywords: are exactly that, the key words that your

customers will put into a search engine to find your

site so choose them wisely there are many sites that

will help you do this Wordtracker being the most

famous.

Title tags and Meta tags make sure they are relevant

to the content of your site if you don’t know what

these are i will cover these in my next article, or

you can check out google and they will give you a

number of sites that will tell you what they are and

what they do.

Finally Links, lots and lots of link but be choosy,

you should be looking for one-way links to your

site,if you don’t have a google toolbar get one use

the page ranker and check out the page your getting

the link from if it has no page ranking then it’s not

going to help you much, really you want a link from a

page of no less than PR3, I know people say get as

many links as you can but that’s not always true, 1

good link with a good page ranking is worth 100

mediocre link ( quality not quantity) trust me, so

were do you get them from friends with websites,

business directories,link directories, submit articles

on things you know about, put an hour aside every day

and do these things and who knows just maybe you

really will have 1,000,000 target traffic to your site

every month.
